Với bài thi IELTS Speaking Part 2 giám khảo sẽ đưa cho bạn một đề bài bao gồm một câu hỏi chính và các câu hỏi phụ gợi ý thêm cho chủ đề mà bạn cần nói. Bạn có tối đa 1 phút để chuẩn bị và 1-2 phút để trình bày câu trả lời của mình.
Khác với bài thi Part 1 và Part 3, bạn đối thoại với giám khảo thì ở Part 2 này thí sinh phải tự trình bày về câu hỏi của mình. Để đạt điểm cao trong phần thi này, bạn cần luyện tập nhiều với kỹ năng thuyết trình, trình bày về một vấn đề và triển khai ý của mình một cách hợp lý và logic.

1. Describe a book you have read many times.
You should say:
– what the book is and what it is about
– who it was written by
– how often you read it
And explain why you enjoy reading it.
2. Describe an English lesson you had and enjoyed.
You should say:
– What it was about
– When you had it
– What the teacher did
And explain why you enjoyed the lesson.
3. Describe a rule that is important in your school or at work.
You should say:
– what the rule is about
– what happens when people break the rule
– why you think it is an important rule
And explain how you feel about the rule.
4. Describe a time you gave some helpful advice to someone.
You should say:
– Who you gave advice to
– What the advice was
– Why you gave the advice
And how you felt about the advice.
5. Describe an interesting person that you have not met in person and would like to know more about.
You should say:
– who this person is
– how you knew him/her
– what interesting things he/she has done
And explain what you would like to know more about him/her.
6. Describe an interesting job that you would like to do in the future.
You should say:
– what the job is
– how you learned about this job
– what skills this job requires
And explain why you would like to do this job.
7. Describe a person who often helps others.
You should say:
– who the person is
– how you know him/her
– what he/she does to help people
And explain how you feel about this person.
8. Describe a photo that makes you feel happy.
You should say:
– when and where you took the photo
– what the photo is like
– how often you look at the photo
And explain why it makes you feel happy.
9. Describe an occasion when you spent time with a child.
You should say:
– when and where it was
– who the child was
– what you did together.
And explain how you felt about it.
10. Describe a park or a garden in your city.
You should say:
– where it is and how often you go there
– who you often go there with
– what it is like
and explain why you like to visit it.
